Ashtanga Week

TBD in 2022
7:00am – 8:30am (daily)

The literal translation of Ashtanga means eight-limbed. Ashtanga yoga is an eight-limbed path towards achieving the state of Yoga, also known as Samadhi. The primary series in Ashtanga Yoga is also known as yoga therapy. It is given this name because it has a purifying, cleansing and healing action on the body.

In this weeklong series, we will be exploring a modified version of the Ashtanga Primary Series, adding poses with each consecutive practice as we learn to prepare the body for more advanced postures. This class is open to all levels as modifications will be offered. This workshop will be offered in studio and online.
