If you’re looking for a Burlington yoga teacher and don’t want to pay the monthly membership fees of a yoga studio, come drop in at The Elliott Sports Medicine Clinic, located on Walker’s Line, just north of the QEW. If practicing yoga in a room surrounded by floor to ceiling windows watching the sunrise is something that appeals to you, then you may want to wake up a little early next Saturday morning and come practice yoga with me.

This vinyasa yoga class, also known as yoga flow, will be focused on creating a balance between strength and flexibility. Vinyasa yoga is a discipline that utilizes postures and breathing techniques. This form of yoga offers a range of health benefits to those who practice it, as it encompasses all areas of mind, body and spirit. Much emphasis will be placed on the breath and learning how to come in and out of your poses while maintaining correct body alignment. The continual movements, from one pose to another, gives students an added cardiovascular benefit, which more traditional forms of yoga do not have. The routine practice of vinyasa yoga can increase muscle strength, endurance and flexibility, and reduce levels of stress. Each class will vary, focusing on different parts of the body. Be prepared to leave your mat feeling energized. What better way to start your day?

Classes will be held at The Elliott Sports Medicine Clinic located at 1100 Walkers Line, Burlington every Saturday morning from 8:00 am – 9:00 am. We are currently offering a promotional rate of $12 drop-in fee. Package rates will eventually be offered based on demand.
